Today I wanted to talk about colouring.

Before you start colouring, you have to be very clear about what you're doing and why, what processes are going to happen...

Basic knowledge of colouring is essential. Color is a science which studies the interaction between colours and their tones. It classifies the colours, defines the laws of their interplay, the relationship between warm and cold tones, their ability to neutralise each other.

Primary colours.



- Blue

- Red

- Yellow

They are primary and pure. They cannot be obtained by mixing any other colours.

Secondary colours.

Purple = Red + Blue

Orange = Red + Yellow.

Green = Blue + Yellow.



They are formed by mixing the two primary colours (primary colours)

Tertiary colours.

Yellow-green = beige

Yellow-orange = copper

red-orange = titian

red-purple = mahogany

light blue-purple = aubergine

blue-green = dark Ash

produced by mixing primary and secondary hues (second-order colours)

Complex colours.



These are all other colours that use more complex shade-mixing schemes to produce them.

Base colour.



When all primary colours are mixed in equal proportions, a dirty brown or base colour is produced. It is commonly referred to as the base colour, which gives the coverage density.
